Holyhead is a seaport on the North West tip of Anglesey in North Wales.
Follow the A5 west across Anglesey, cross the water onto Holy Island, and take the slip road exit signposted Treaddur Bay.
Then turn left at the first roundabout onto the A5153 and follow signs across the next roundabout (within a short distance) for Treaddur Bay.

The New Oval is close to the Leisure Centre which is clearly visible from the next small rounabout.  Ample parking available along the side of the ground. Lively clubhouse on the ground and the feeling of a club with purpose and ambition.

  Holyhead Hotspurs History & Honours

In the late 1980's Ken Chambers and others, seeing the need for a new football club formed in 1990 Holyhead Hotspurs FC.

At that time there were four other local football clubs in the town operating in different leagues of the North Wales Coast Football Association.  By 1997, with the success of Hotspurs, all the clubs had amalgamated, and Holyhead Hotspurs FC became the modern day successor to the "Harbourmen" of years ago, and formed a senior team, a reserve team and seven junior/youth teams (playing under the banner of Holyhead Hotspur Peibio).
The Club has enjoyed great success as can be seen from the Club Honours.  In successive seasons 1995/6, 1996/7 and 1997/8 the Anglesey League, Gwynedd League and Welsh Alliance League Championships were won, and this was the focus which resulted in the amalgamation of the Holyhead clubs.  The season 1998/9 saw the new club promoted to the Cymru Alliance League and beginning life in the second tier of Welsh football.
In the past four years Hotspurs have consolidated its position in the Cymru Alliance League and the reserves have likewise consolidated their position in the Gwynedd League.  The 2002 finish of ninth represented the best to date before an eighth place in 2007, the final season at the old ground, in the first season of Campbell Harrions's reign.
The new ground is a match for any in the Cymru Alliance and with a successful youth policy helping drive the club onwards, a place in the Welsh Premier is now a reality more than a dream.

Manager:  Campbell Harrison

Campbell took over during the summer of 2013 after Emlyn Manley stepped down, having prevously been in charge of the Hotspurs for three years from 2006.
He has vast experience with Holyhead and other clubs including Cemaes Bay and Porthmadog both as player and manager. Campbell made 65 Welsh Premier appearances, the vast majority for Porthmadog.
A well liked and widely respected individual Campbell would seem a shrewd appointment by the Hotspur's committee.
